RÉMY MARTIN: ONE LIFE LIVE THEM CAMPAIGN

In October 2015, Rémy Martin Cognac announced the launch of its global campaign that recognizes and celebrates individual’s multi-talents. The campaign tagline, One Life/Live Them®, which asserts its grammatical difference, identifies that today’s consumers are not defined by one talent or skill, but are multi-faceted and should be applauded for their many passions.

Rémy Martin’s One Life/Live Them campaign encourages consumers to explore and celebrate all their talents. It is a call to live richer, larger lives, to expand the horizon and seize all the wonderful opportunities that life can offer, beyond the one-dimensional paths that former generations could have embraced.

To embody this brand philosophy and lifestyle, LSF|PR adapted the campaign locally to the Nigerian market.

  • To launch the campaign in the Nigeria in 2015, we organized a press conference for the global executive directors of Remy-Cointreau. Editors from key media platforms (traditional and digital were invited for a Q&A session).
  • Identifying influencers and personalities: One of the key factors in identifying influencers for the campaign was understanding the existing target consumers and the "Un-tapped consumers" in the market. It was also important that we were strategic with our choice of influencers as it was important to not lose the core essence of the campaign. Our choice of influencers up until 2017 has included JJ Omojuwa (Political Expert/Public Speaker/King of the Click), Arese Ugwu (Personal finance expert/Author/Thought Leader), Zainab Balogun (Actress/Entrepreneur/Producer), Kemi Adetiba (OAP/Film Director, King Woman), Adebayo Oke Lawal, (Fashion Designer/Preceptor/Trailblazer), Falz (Lawyer/Musician/Comedian), Charles Okpaleke (Nightlife tycoon/Health Economist/Silver Tongue) and many more.
  • Since 2015, the campaign has received and continues to receive extensive media coverage as influencers are changed.
  • We also handle the communications for the pacesetter events where the influencers are celebrated when their contract comes to an end.
